NewTek is on track to release their new TCXD850 hi-def TriCaster in mid-July, 2010. The TCXD850 is the second hi-def TriCaster model that NewTek has released, and incorporates various improvements over the previous TCXD300 hi-def TriCaster including working with eight versus three external video inputs, two DDRS instead of one, working with two independent iVGA sources, rackmount configuration with all video and audio connectors rear-mounted, redundant power supplies and removable hard drives. As good as the TCXD300 is, the TCXD850 is even better!
List price on the TCXD850 is $24,995.00. You can trade-in an older TriCaster or VT system and receive a generous discount toward a new TCXD850. For example, if you purchased a TCXD300 after January 15th, 2010 you can trade it in for a new TCXD850 for only $9,995.00. Trade-in your VT[5] hardware and software and purchase a new TCXD850 for only $14,995.00. Your purchase price for a new TCXD850 depends on what NewTek product you are trading-in and when you purchased the older product.
