Update about NewTek’s VT[5] software upgrade

NewTek was incredibly ambitious by announcing five new products at NAB 2006 last April – 3D Arsenal, LightWave v9, TriCaster PRO, SpeedEDIT and VT[5]. To date they have released the first three products, and it looks like SpeedEDIT will ship very, very soon!

For those brave souls who pre-ordered the VT[5] software upgrade and are still patiently waiting for their upgrade to arrive, please note you are entitled to a free copy of SpeedEDIT, which should be arriving any day now. SpeedEDIT will become the video editor included with VT[5] when it ships, as well as a standalone software video editor that can be installed on a Windows XP Pro PC including laptops, office computer, animation workstations, etc.
